GENERAL RULES

1. RULES & PROCEDURES – Have questions about the rules? Coaches and advisors, don’t hesitate to reach out to TeamX! We’re here to help you navigate the competition with confidence.

2. PERFORMANCE INQUIRIES – If you have any concerns about your team’s performance, connect with us! Your success is our priority, and we’re eager to discuss any questions you may have.

3. PHOTO AND VIDEO - These will be made available through the Dakiki app no later than WEDNESDAY following your event. (Photo and Video is included in the performers media fee.)

4. PERFORMANCE SPACE - The performance area for all teams and performances will be a regulation basketball court in a high school gymnasium. (In some cases, the solo portion of competition may take place in a theater dependent upon registration.)

5. ADMISSION PRICING - $10 PER PERSON (PAYABLE AT THE DOOR) (This excludes competing dancers, 2 coaches, and children under 5 years of age)

6. REGISTRATION - TeamX will require each team to complete their own registration for each event. TeamX will not alter any teams registration without written consent. Registration must be complete with NO changes being accepted 14 days before the event date. Any changes after this date must be communicated and approved by the TeamX director. 

7. INSURANCE - Every performer participating in a TeamX event will be required to fill out a The Team Xperience LLC liability waiver electronically in order to be allowed to compete. The medical release form will be available online through the registration portal and must be completed NO LATER than 1 week before the start of competition.

8. DEPOSIT - There will be a required $200 deposit per team for each event when registering your team for TeamX events. An approximate routine count would be preferred at the time of deposit and registration. **The order of competition will be determined by the order of registration received.** Acceptable forms of payment will be Check or Credit Card made out to The Team Xperience. FULL BALANCE is due no later than 2 weeks before the event date.

9. WAITLIST - A waitlist for each event will be created should the registration reach capacity. All teams and registrations on the waitlist must be willing to complete registration within 48 hours of receiving notice that space has opened up for the desired event. Failure to complete registration within this time frame may cause your space to be offered to the next waitlisted team/organization.

GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES

1. Emergency Preparedness – Ensure your team has a solid emergency plan in place for any injuries. Being prepared is key!

2. Know Your Team – Coaches, assess the abilities of your dancers! Create routines that challenge but don’t exceed their skill levels, and always prioritize safety.

3. Safe Practice Zones – When practicing technical skills, make sure an advisor or coach is present. Always choose safe practice environments, avoiding:

   - Concrete, asphalt, or any hard surfaces

   - Wet or slippery areas

   - Uneven terrain

   - Spaces with obstacles

4. Warm Up & Cool Down – Implement a solid warm-up and stretching routine before and after performances to keep your dancers in top shape!

5. Health & Safety Compliance – All TeamX events (including camps and competitions) will follow health and safety laws. We expect everyone—coaches, teams, and spectators—to comply with these regulations, along with any additional safety protocols put in place by TeamX.

DISQUALIFICATION POLICY

Teams that do not follow TeamX’s rules and regulations risk disqualification from the event. A disqualified team will forfeit all rights to any prizes or awards at that competition.

TeamX reserves the right to exclude any team, coach, dancer, spectator, or individual from our competitions at our discretion—because safety and integrity come first!
